Meet the Speaker

Andy Cheely was born in Atlanta but spent his formative years in Locust when his parents helped plant Carolina Pres and were the first residents of the manse. This is where he recited the catechism, learned “To God Be the Glory” on 5^th Sunday Night Sings, and met Jesus as his personal Savior. He currently works as the Director of World Missions for the 2^nd Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN after 33 years of serving university students, including 24 of those in China. He is married to Brooke, and they have 2 daughters, Abigail (who just moved to Laos in September) and Esther (who is a sophomore in college.)
